(Genealogy Note: It has not been conclusively proven that Sara was a child of David and Eliza (Gettman) Greenzweig. However, there is enough circumstantial evidence to place her with this family. The sponsors at the baptism of Sara's first child, Levi Borger, born in 1846, were David and Eliza Greenzweig. Also, the sponsors at the baptism of Sara's fourth child, William born in 1856, were Jacob Franz and his wife, Maria. Maria Franz is believed to be Sara's sister.)
In 1850 Sara, age 23, was living with her husband, William Borger (listed in the census as "Burger"), age 34 a laborer, in Ross Twp., Monroe Co., PA with one child, David H. age 2. Also living in their household was a Franey Gross age 7. William and Sarah owned real estate valued at $300.
